Reader Response What are your plans for Labor Day weekend?
It's looking to be a sea of travellers and traffic as usual for this coming Labor Day weekend. Are you making plans closer to home? Or are you preparing to celebrate the last days of summer in style?

Stuck in traffic; long lines at the airport; crowds everywhere.
Anyone who travels on this or any holiday weekend is nutz!
Last time I looked, I was still relatively sane. Just another two-day weekend with a bonus day.
Swimming at the local pool and movies and shopping at the a/c malls are appealing. Just chilling locally and at home with family and kids. Agree with Sandia above -- why does everyone have to go away at the same time? Save our roads and air -- drive less in congestion. If you must go, go overnight, but even that is crowded going toward Vegas.
I, unfortunately, will be one of those meatballs fighting my way through traffic on the 5 this weekend. However, I'm expecting long delays and planning for them--and as long as I have my trusty Thomas Guide with me I should be able to find side roads to help ease the pain. No sense in getting upset--just prepared!! Hopefully if I plan things right--I won't run into too much traffic along my way.
