Agree with B. Dirnsa's comment on the comment section, that Rocky Delgadillo should have been on the Top 10 list, maybe as Number one or at the least tied with the Mayor's love life. This person details the situation well. Seems kind of biased to hammer on the Mayor, with links to all the salacious details, but overlook Rocky and his wife's downright criminal actions -- much more applicable to the duties of a City Attorney.
I think Home Depot being defeated in Sunland-Tujunga is a very important story that illustrates the growing empowerment of neighborhoods
and Neighborhood Councils.
My top story is the continual carnage on our nation's and state's highways.
Every year, more than 43,000 people die on the highways in the USA, and last year, 4,196 people died in traffic accidents in California. The media, including The Daily News should make this front page news like they do for Iraq where deaths due to combat are miniscule compared to traffic deaths and murders in the USA.
