My in-laws Gary and Patti Morrison celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April. They are Long Beach natives. My mother-in-law grew up in the 3800 block of Linden and my father-in-law in the 3800 block of Olive. We celebrated their 50th anniversary at The Reef restaurant.
They are very special people. In fact Gary's mother Jewel Morrison lived to be 100 years old and went to the first school in Long Beach which was in the Bixby's garage.
