My wife of 63 years turned 80-years-old on Jan. 12. The mother of three very special children. One, a paralyzed Vietnam veteran, our youngest, a 21-year Army flight medic, now retired and our daughter, whose involved in space technology with Vultee, Northrup and Douglas. She was great with horses and dogs as well as a full-time wife. There are not enough words to describe how much of a good person, cook, and mother she has been over the years. I was never able to provide all that she deserved but we had fun involved in Quarter Midget Racing, off-roading with some of the best people I ever known, spending so many weekends camping in the desert and mountains and visiting places of interest. Those of us lucky enough to have a wife like mine know just what I am talking about. Betty Eleanor Lee / Bays graduated from Jordan High in 1947. Below is then 17 year old Betty.
