pn16-rproving1.jpgGaleLynn (Turner)Peterson recently traveled with her husband, Glen, and son, Greg, to the California coast for a conference and stopped to take a picture of the Memorial Highway Sign for her cousin, Alfred Turner. CHP Officer Turner was shot during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 5 in Los Banos. His End Of Watch was Dec. 16, 1975. The sign is on Interstate 5 between Highways 152 and 165. GaleLynn and Alfred shared the same birthdate.

Along with five friends and relatives, the couple spent three weeks on the road, enjoying the game reserves, landscapes, and lodges in Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. Earlier, Lois did a tandem jump from a plane over the Namib Desert.
