Annie Garcia, from Westminster, and her niece, Aline Picard from Paris, France.

According to the legend from the 10th century the Archangel Micheal appeared to St. Aubert, bishop of Avaranches, in a dream and asked him to build a church dedicated to St. Michael on top of a rock which up to then had been called Mont Tombe. It is the most daring example of medieval architecture.
It was a wonderful trip even if my return was delayed by the eruption of the volcano in Iceland.
