pn06-rproving1.jpgIn June, a group of history students from Hughes Middle School and chaperones joined Mr. Howe, holding the Press-Telegram, on his trip to Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Students had the opportunity to visit the National Mall, several Smithsonians, and the various memorials including Vietnam, Korean, WWII, Iwo Jima and Jefferson. They also visited Arlington, Gettysburg, Mount Vernon and Philadelphia.
This was a very educational trip and the students walked in and tolerated record-breaking heat.
