An act of Kindness

pn10-rpcoolpet.jpgWe experienced a random act of kindness so simple that the giver couldn't have realized the magnitude of the gift he gave us. We lost our most precious baby, our kitty Roosevelt, to a coyote just over a year ago. Out of the blue we received a message on our answering machine from a man saying he had found Roosevelt's collar and would drop it by our house, which he did. We were not home and could not thank him and let him know how much his kindness meant to us. It means the world to us to have this little item back, as we miss our Roosevelt as much now as when we lost him. I have no way of thanking him. Bless you, sir.
Our Roosevelt was a starving, flea covered, crippled runt that the neighbor's cat brought home. He had surgery on each of his back legs to repair them as he wasn't able to walk without popping both knees back into place. He had bladder issues so he used to get a pill every day and a shot once a week. We loved our baby.
