Happy Anniversary

pn10-rpanniversary1.JPGOn Dec. 12, 2010 a celebration for the 60th Wedding Anniversary of Glen and Mary Martin, longtime residents of Long Beach. They were joined by family and several friends. They were married in the city of Lynwood on Dec. 9, 1950. At the time Glen was in the Army and about to be deployed to Korea. They raised two sons, Bob and Bill. Bill has since passed away. The Martins were actively involved in scouting organizations, local baseball, camping trips and fishing. Both have retired, Glen from the Boeing Company and Mary from Cal Bowl. They enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren, Nikki, Andy, and Kimmie and their great grandsons Austin and Brendan who now live in Boise, ID. They are looking forward to many more happy years together.

pn10-rpanniversary2.jpgJim and Sharon Cook were married on July 9, 1960. Family and friends celebrated their 50th anniversary at their home in northern California last July. Jim is retired from the Long Beach Police Department and Sharon is retired from the Long Beach Unified School District Personnel Commission Department. Congratulations on 50 years of Marriage!!!!
