pn10-rpnurses.jpgI am a registered nurse, semi-retired, who traveled to Columbus, Ohio to watch my daughter officially become a nurse. Courtney Anne Baker graduated from Columbus State Community College in early December. Courtney already had a bachelor's degree in marketing from Georgetown University. She was part of a special program for students who wanted to try another career. To my surprise, Courtney chose nursing. She was announced at the graduation program by her husband Dr. Jonathan Baker who is the dean of the Math Department at the college. Courtney hopes to attend Ohio State University to further her nursing career.
