Kurtis Kennington, right, with his grandmother, Amy Sloan, left and his aunt Karean Wrightson, Sloan's daughter, was the primary graphic artist and the assistant graphic director for the 37th People's Choice Awards held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Jan. 5, 2011.
A 2008 graduate of the California Institute of the Arts and an Orange County High School of the Arts graduate, Kennington has won many special awards for his graphic designs and art work.
At the end of the night, Kurtis hosted his proud grandmother and aunt for a tour of the control room of the theater.
"This is another of the many times that Kurtis has made us so proud of him," said Kurtis' grandfather, Omar Sloan.
