Pictured are my two sisters, two cousins and one of our best friends in New York at the Statue of Liberty. We went to New York for seven days in October 2010 to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had so much fun that we can't wait to go back. During a two-week, five country European vacation last summer, Maggie Webster of Los Angeles, Cynthia Terry and Barbara Gilmore of Long Beach visited Rotterdam in the Netherlands to enjoy the North Sea Jazz Festival. Established in 1976, the North Sea Jazz Festival is the world's oldest, largest indoor jazz festival.
On a recent cruise down the Danube River, our Saturday morning golf group posed for a picture with the Press-Telegram in front of the fountain in the courtyard of the Benedictine abbey in Melk, Austria. The Baroque style abbey was built in 1702 - 1736.
