The Librarians Have Spoken

| | Comments (2) |

No one seems to really know who the members of the National Board of Review are (let alone what the organization's purpose is). But it's safe to assume that few, if any, real film critics or moviemaking professionals are part of this mysterious group.
Anyway, the NBR likes to fool gullible people and media outlets into thinking that its year-end best movie awards are the first significant ones announced. And I guess they are for librarians who don't get out much or have very adventurous tastes, if this year's easy-to-call and/or flat-out dull picks are any indication.
Hey, maybe I've just figured out what most NBR members actually do for a living!
