Los Angeles Film Festival Schedule

The Los Angeles Film Festival begins next Thursday. This used to be strictly our local independent film celebration, but with stuff like the Westwood-devouring premiere of "Transformers" a big part of LAFF's program, things have obviously changed a little.
Not all that much, though. LAFF still represents one of the best opportunities you'll have to see acclaimed upcoming releases before most other people in town, as well as lots of foreign, indie and documentary features that you may never have the chance to see again.
Below is an exhaustive list of titles playing at this year's fest. Most of the venues are in Westwood Village or at the new Landmark 12 multiplex afew miles south on Westwood Blvd., in the Westside Pavilion.
