Idaho 3, Reign 0.

The Reign kicked off their road trip to Boise with their sixth loss in their last seven games. At least this one was probably closer than the final score would indicate.

Jeff Zatkoff and Matt Climie were locked into a who-can-blink-first goalie duel until 12 minutes remained in the third period, when Idaho’s Brent Shepheard notched his ninth goal of the season. Tallies by Tyler Shelast and Bryan MacGregor over the final 1:15 provided the final score.

Zatkoff (16-14-1-1) stopped 33 of 36 shots for the Reign, who put just 15 shots on net. They’ll have opportunities to redeem themselves on Friday and Saturday. The Steelheads have won three straight. Your official scoresheet is here.
