Idaho 6, Reign 0.

The playoff-bound Reign are still seeking some sort of momentum after a 6-0 loss to the Idaho Steelheads on Saturday.

The loss, the Reign’s seventh in their past nine games, was their second to the Steelheads in their three-game series at Qwest Arena in Boise. The Reign have six days off before their next game Friday in Bakersfield. After back-to-back contests against the Condors, they’ll have another six days off before the opening round of the Kelly Cup playoffs begin at Citizens Business Bank Arena on April 10.

That should provide ample time to erase memories of this loss, in which Idaho goaltender Matt Climie shut out the Reign for the second time this week. Climie made 26 saves and Jeff Zatkoff, starting on back-to-back nights for the Reign, stopped 43 of the 49 shots he faced.

The official scoresheet is here.
