Victoria 9, Reign 4.
The Reign allow a whopping 50 shots on goal, 41 of which Jeff Zatkoff stopped, as their two-game winning streak was snapped in a big way. They allowed two power play goals (out of five penalty kills), and even a short-handed goal late in the first period.

New feature on Dusty Collins.
Remember Dusty Collins?
He played 24 games for the Reign to start the season, but worked his way up to the American Hockey League and has apparently stuck with the Manitoba Moose, the Vancouver Canucks’ AHL affiliate. An article today in the Winnipeg Sun details how.
Reign 2, Stockton 1.
After last night’s goal-fest, a typical Reign game: Not a lot of scoring, but just enough to win, and a fine goaltending performance from Jeff Zatkoff.

Official scoresheet is here.

Utah 5, Reign 1.
Five times the Reign have played the Utah Grizzlies, and five times the game has been decided by a single goal — including once in overtime and once in a shootout. So what happened Friday at the Bank? Good question.

Reign whisperings from the Bank

2. Only a couple hundred tickets remain for tomorrow night’s game against Bakersfield. It could be the first Reign sellout in Citizens Business Bank Arena history.
3. Captain Jon Francisco is off 7-day injured reserve and back in the lineup.
