The ECHL announced that it has fined Reign left wing James McEwan an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions at the end of last Thursday’s game in Las Vegas. McEwan was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for spearing.

He is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline. Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
