A brief Bobby Walls update.

More good news Wednesday for Bobby Walls, the Reign’s head trainer/equipment manager who was assaulted early Sunday in the parking lot of BJ’s Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga.

Walls has been transferred out of the intensive care unit into a regular room at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Update: He was taken off a heart monitor and the team expects him to be released this week.

As expected, Walls won’t be flying with the Reign to Utah this weekend, but at least it sounds like he’s on the mend.
