Final fundraising totals announced.

The Reign released figures for the team’s fundraising efforts throughout the 2010-11 season: $320,106 for the seven jersey auctions, $6,740 for local Boy Scout troops through special ticket sales, and $178,600 in tickets and memorabilia donated by the Hope Reigns foundation to local charities.

The grand total: $505,446.

“The great fans of the Ontario Reign continue to demonstrate that they are the most generous in all of professional hockey,” President Justin Kemp said in a statement. “In three short seasons, we have given more than one million dollars back to the community and it is all due to the tremendous support of our fans!”

Here’s how the jersey auctions broke down, according to figures released by the team:

• Ontario players auctioned their military-themed jerseys on Nov. 6 to raise $21,840 for Stater Bros. Charities.

• The Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley held their second annual “Night at the Reign” on November 20. Players wore limited edition jerseys that raised $47,000, which included the jersey auction and other fundraising efforts for their night, and the money raised was for the animals cared for by the Humane Society.McEwan Affiliate.jpg

• On Hope Reigns Jersey Night, auction proceeds totaled $11,223 and benefited the Hope Reigns Foundation and Steven’s Hope for Children, this night was sponsored by Byron Marquez and the Ontario Reign Dance Team.

• Upland tattoo artist Corey Miller contributed his skills to the design of the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter’s specialty jersey. The Reign wore the one-of-a-kind jerseys on January 23 and raised $38,000 for the Inland Empire Chapter’s Hope 365 Campaign.

• The Reign wore the jerseys of their NHL affiliate, the Los Angeles Kings, and a post-game auction yielded $37,677 for the Jr. Reign youth hockey team at IceTown in Riverside.

• On March 12, the auction of the game-worn limited edition green-themed jerseys raised $25,166 for the University of La Verne Scholarship Foundation.

The jerseys garnered $20,700 for the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, the dinner was sponsored Nestle Waters and Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Claremont.
