The Pasadena Showcase House of Design kicks off its 2010 season, and welcomes the public for the first time to see the final transformation of the 1929-built Cravens Estate. The property is headquarters for the San Gabriel-Pomona Valley American Red Cross, a role it has played since 1962. Now, 25 interior designers and several landscaping companies have lovingly restored the estate into a modern beauty rooted in the French chateau architecture of its past. Each room and outdoor space is packed with design ideas for your own home. Don’t miss the outdoor restaurant — complete with a delectable wine list — provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering.
