I recently read the recent issue of Rose and have another non-profit organization you might like to know about.
Lifeline for Pets has been around for about 35 years and is run strictly on donations by volunteers. They rescue cats and dogs and find them homes agter spaying, neutering and micro chipping.
We have gotten probably 4 or 5 dogs from them over the years and they do a great job.
They have a website, lifelineforpets.com where they show some of the animals they have for adoption.
Llifeline also has a Cat Pad in Pasadens just East of Marie Calendar’s on Foothill where they house probably 70 or 80 cats.
The dogs are kept in a private boarding kennel in So. El Monte. Marilyn handles the dog adoptions and could fill you in more than I can. Her phone number is 626-358-3726.
The number for the cats, I think is 626-796-4098.
Anyway, they do a lot of good for our furry friends.
