Big Bear gets fresh snow for holiday weekend

Big Bear ski resorts received two to three inches of new snow yesterday. Looks like they'll have a fresh surface for the holiday weekend.

Bear Mountain will host a couple events this weekend. On Saturday, the resort will unveil Pro Rider Laurie Heiskari's signature jib.

The USSA FIS Slalom competition will be held over the three-day President's day weekend.

On Monday, USASA Boarder Cross will be held. This grassroots organization allow skiers of all ages and abilities to participate in organized skiing. For more information see usasa.org.
