HEY, HEY, HEY! The big winter storm blew in bringing with it steady snowfall. The powder is beginning to accumulate and forecasts call for up to a foot by this evening.

The conditions are the best of the season with a powder to packed powder surface! Around the clock snowmaking is in full operation and with these favorable conditions; we expect to continue making snow through the week.

Chains are required on all 3 routes into Big Bear, but it's worth the drive. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain currently have 5 chair lifts operating with terrain for all levels and abilities.

Snow Summit's Miracle Mile and Bear Bottom beginner area are open. The Park Run is open today at Bear Mountain, and Central Park and Inspiration runs offer 16 jibs and 4 snow features.

More lifts and runs will open SOOON! See you on the slopes, dude!
