mouttttt.jpgMountain High Resort in Wrightwood plans to open top-to-bottom for skiing and snowboarding on Wednesday. Temperatures dipped into the 20s Monday  and Mountain High had an incredible night of snowmaking.

Four trails on Mountain High West, Upper Chisolm, Lower Chisolm, Cruiser, and Sunnyside, are planned to open with a base of 6-12" of man made snow with service from Blue Ridge Express and Coyote chairlifts. Lifts will run from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. and night skiing will be available from 5-10 p.m.

"The amount of snow that we've been able to make in such a short amount of time is a great testament to the improvements we've made in our snowmaking system," said Karl Kapuscinski, President and CEO. "Our new snow guns and system upgrades are allowing us to take advantage of the cold, dry temperatures and open a considerable amount of terrain for our guests."

The Faultline Terrain Park crew will have a full lineup of boxes and rails. There will also be terrain options for beginner and intermediate riders. Winter Sports School expects to offer private lessons beginning on Friday and group lessons are expected to begin once Snow Flake chair opens.

Early season ticket pricing will be in effect at $40 for an Adult 8-Hour ticket and $35 for an Adult 4-Hour ticket. Lift tickets for children ages 7 to 12 will be just $24 and night tickets (valid from 5-10pm) will be $30.

Please note prices are subject to change without notice.  Visit mthigh.com for a complete list of prices and programs.
