16 feet of snow in Crested Butte

Winter has returned with a vengeance to Crested Butte, Colorado.  A major winter storm moved into the area last Friday and proceeded to pummel the legendary slopes of Crested Butte throughout the weekend.   Skiers and riders have been treated to four straight powder days and in total a whopping 39 inches of snow has fallen during this storm cycle. 

This epic weekend storm has all of Crested Butte grinning from ear to ear, and  has also managed to bring Crested Butte's season snowfall accumulation to 202 inches - over 16 feet.
