Five feet of snow at Mountain High?

The National Weather Service is reporting good news for Mountain
High skiers and snowboarders from President’s Day weekend. A winter storm watch
has been issued for the San Gabriel Mountains that
calls for new snow through Tuesday. This storm is expected to drop
up to two feet of snow on Mountain High with snow levels dipping to 4,500 feet.

 

More than three feet of new snow has
already fallen at Mountain High over the last week-and-a-half. All three resorts are 100% open
with up to 16 lifts, 62 trails and a 24-48 inch base of powder and packed
powder.

The North Pole Tubing Park is also open with six lanes of lift accessed
