Five feet of snow at Mountain High?
The National Weather Service is reporting good news for Mountain
High skiers and snowboarders from President's Day weekend. A winter storm watch
has been issued for the More than three feet of new snow has
already fallen at Mountain High over the last week-and-a-half. All three resorts are 100% open
with up to 16 lifts, 62 trails and a 24-48 inch base of powder and packed
powder.
The North Pole Tubing Park is also open with six lanes of lift accessed tubing. Visit mthigh.com for the latest snow report and custom weather forecast.



When snow is as deep and fresh as this there is a definite avalanche risk.

Sounds like good advice, that much snow over so short a period can be a problem. Don't want anyone to be injured in any misadventures. The resorts usually do a pretty good job of avalanche control inbounds, but boarders going out of bounds can be really dangerous.
