Furlough Fridays at Squaw Valley

With a 14 foot base and 6 feet of new snow, Squaw Valley is helping out furloughed state employees.


The Village at Squaw Valley USA is also offering state workers good deals on Thursday or Friday overnight stays during furlough weeks (the first and third weeks of the month).

 Squaw Valley is offering $30 Furlough Fridays lift ticket prices as well as nearly half off lodging.

 ·        Here's a sample of lodging deals: One-Bedroom Condo Suites available Thursday or Friday nights for $169 (plus $10 Resort Fee)

·         Two-Bedroom Condo Suites available on Thursday or Friday nights for $279 (plus $10 Resort Fee)

Just present a valid California State Employee ID while furloughs are still taking place, and make mention of this special when making a reservation to receive your lodging discount.
