Looks like it's going to be a white Christmas after all. Mountain High Ski Resort in Wrightwood is reporting  6 to 9 inches of new snow and forecasters predict the resort may receive another foot of new snow by tomorrow.

But the winds are very heavy, so Mountain High is going to remain closed today and let the snow accumulate. It hopes to be open first thing tomorrow morning.

Please check the snow report here BEFORE heading up. As of right now all roads are open however chains or 4 wheel drive are required so if you plan to visit us, make sure you are prepared.

Bear Mountain Ski Resort in Big Bear is open with a little fresh snow this morning. It reports 3 inches from last night. Today's forecast calls for a mixture of rain and snow while tonight's forecast predicts 7 to 11 inches of new snowfall.

As for road conditions, Hwy 330/18 the front way, and Hwy 38 thru Redlands are closed. Hwy 18 thru Lucerne Valley is open with no chains at this time, however we do expect that to change with increased snowfall.

Keep in mind road conditions are in a constant state of change. Please check the road conditions with Cal Trans and our reports before your visit.
