Big Bear Mountain Resorts report great conditions

“We’re
off to an unbelievable start to the season,” says Chris Riddle,
Marketing Director for Big Bear Mountain Resorts. “We’ve had ideal
snowmaking conditions and have the most open runs and lifts of any other
So Cal resort with more opening daily. The conditions are like those
we see in mid-winter, so to have them now, at the beginning of the
season is really remarkable. This is easily the best conditions we’ve
seen for an opening in six or seven years.”

Between the two resorts, there are 18 lifts and nearly 80 percent of the
runs currently open. The resorts feature 106 terrain features, including the new
Skill Builder Parks

Snowmakers and staff are working at every opportunity to open even more
new runs and add new features at both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit.
