Local ski resorts report over a foot of fresh snow

Bear Mountain ski resort received 12-16 inches of fresh snow this weekend and now nearly 100% of the mountain is open.

Mountain High reports 14 inches of new snow over the past week. This morning they added the Sponge Bob Square Rail, an new jump, and a Super Mario style vertical corrugated tube. Upper Chisolm received the short down bar for smooth, stylish tricks and way down on Cruiser the angle boxes are now flat for more people to shred.

Snow Summit also received a total of 12 to 16 inches of fresh snow this weekend. Snow Summit has all lifts available, 98% of the runs are open and there are fun park features in the Family Park and on Westridge. Holiday rates are in effect.
