Mammoth opens all lifts and runs with 4 feet of snow

Mammoth Mountain crews are working hard to open the entire mountain today. All runs and lifts should be open today.

Mammoth has received more than 4 feet of snow
since Friday. It’s going to be a great day to ski or board on all
the fresh powder.

Learn how to ski/ride
powder with expert instruction on a powder day. First in line lift
privileges ensure laps of powder runs! Meet at Main Lodge demo shop by
8:00am, bring your gear or rent some fat skis or a demo board –  we’re
in line by 8:30 for first turns.

And for the first time in its history, Mammoth Mountain will now be
notifying guests of chairlift expectations.

At the bottom of all
chairlifts, one of four flags will be displayed. A green square
indicates the chair is open. A red diamond indicates it’s closed. A
yellow triangle means it will open in 30 minutes or less and a Blue
Circle indicates the life is expected to operate that day.
