pring break lodging and lift ticket packages in Brian Head, Utah.

Because of heavy accumulation of snow from February storms, Brian Head just extended its season to April 15. Brian Head in Southern Utah and is 100 percent open.

It has enjoyed a great snow year in what’s been a weak snow-year
nationally. Year-to-date Brian Head has over fourteen feet of snow, and
March snow fall averages 57.8 inches and April 45.5 (Western Regional

through April 14, Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa is offering 25% off

is $80 weekdays and $93 Friday and Saturday, including tax, for a
newly-renovated Junior Villa, which has two queen beds, a kitchenette
with under-counter refrigerator, sink, microwave and a coffee maker.

For
its guests, the lodge has full day all-age lift tickets for $25
Monday-Friday and $39 Saturday & Sunday. Regular lift ticket prices
are $49/adults and $35/12 and-under and seniors 65 and over.

The lodge
runs a free shuttle to the adjacent Brian Head Resort ski area. Guests must
book directly with lodge at 435-677-3000 and mention “SPRING BREAK” to
receive these prices. Room and lift tickets must be booked at least 72
hours prior to arrival.

All rooms have a gas fireplace, a
full bath with jetted tub, cable television and telephones with data
port. All units are non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. Guests can enjoy

Red Bull’s Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails Qualifier will be held on Saturday, March 17 at Bear Mountain Ski Resort.

United Express offers flights to Brian Head Ski Resort in Utah


Just in time for spring break, a new flight has been introduced for
skiers and snowboarders in Southern California. Access is now
easier than ever to southern Utah’s legendary dry, powder snow. 

A
United Express flight operated by SkyWest Airlines offers nonstop
service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the new St.
George Municipal Airport (SGU), in Southern Utah, just 90 minutes from
Brian Head Resort in the Rocky Mountains.

The flight operates six times a week
onboard the EMB 120 Brasilia aircraft. Sunday through Friday. The 90-minute flight leaves LAX each afternoon, as does the

In recognition of switching to daylight savings time this weekend, Snow Summit will be springing forward with new lift operating hours beginning Saturday, March 10th.

Friday 9th: Day Session 8:30am-4:00pm; No night session

Saturday 10th: Day Session 8:30am-6pm, Night session 3:00pm-9:30pm (this is the last night session this season)

Sunday 11th: Day Session 8:30am-5pm

Monday thru Friday beginning March 12th: 9:00am-4:00pm

Saturdays and Sundays beginning March 17th: 8:30am-4:30pm

Ticket windows open 30-minutes before the chair lifts.

Snow Summit hosts USASA and Analog competition

Lots of fun activities at Snow Summit this glorious weekend. Salomon BBR Ski Demo is being offered on Saturday and Sunday.

Analog’s Go Huck Yourself ski and snowboard
competition will be held Saturday night. Registration in the VIP room from 3:30 to
5 pm.

Snow Summit ski resort will host a USASA GS and Slalom competition on Sunday.  USASA
point-rated events can lead to a direct seed into the USASA National
Championships set for Copper Mountain, Colorado, from March 31 to April 11.

women). Skiers are invited to participate and earn an invitation to
the Nationals for Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and SkierCross.

Leap Year sale offers big savings at Big Bear resorts

This Leap Year, Big Bear
is giving skiers and snowboarders the chance to save big the entire month
of March. On Wednesday, Feb. 29 Big Bear Lake Resort Association kicks off a 24-hour sale that includes $29 midweek lift tickets to Big Bear
Mountain Resorts (Snow Summit and Bear Mountain) packaged with discounted midweek
lodging accommodations.

The deeply
discounted lift tickets are 50 percent off the regular rate and lodging is 29
percent off regular rates. The Leap Into March Special is a one-time deal that
is only available for purchase during a 24-hour window starting Wednesday at 6 a.m. and ending March 1 at 6 a.m.
 

To
qualify for the $29 lift tickets to Snow Summit and Bear Mountain guests must
book at least one night lodging accommodation for arrivals during March 2012.
The package deal is good for midweek overnight
stays Sunday through Thursday and skiing or riding Monday through Friday.

In
addition, guests who wish to rent skis or snowboards during their trip to Big
Bear may opt for rentals at a 29 percent discount. There is a limit to two $29
ski lift tickets for every night of lodging per itinerary. However, more
tickets may be purchased at 25 percent off the regular rate.
