Monday night pick
I'd be lying if I said I was excited about the NBA season, which starts on Wednesday. I'd also be lying if I said I was happy with my NFL picks, which were awful as usual. I guess opposite-week is next week. Here's my Monday night hurrah.
Green Bay (+3) at Denver
Weird, weird game. The Broncos are 3-3, but could easily be 0-6, as Jason Elam has won all three games with last-second field goals. The Packers are 5-1, but don't seem to have that elite-team quality. Considering the Broncos' MO this year, I'll take the points.
