Thursday picks

Busy week, with league previews and old friends stopping in town, so I apologize for the lack of blogs this week. Then again, maybe you didn't even notice. For those of you who didn't, here's some Jessica Biel pictures to tide you over. If you want really good ones that I can't post on here, google her Gear photo shoot from 2000.

Now to the picks...

High School
Carter at Rialto
A rare Thursday night Citrus Belt treat. The Lions have seemed to turn it on in league play, averaging 26 points per game in their two league wins after struggling on offense in their three non-league losses. Rialto is undermanned, but playing hard under first-year coach Eric Rodriguez. The Knights will give Carter a game for a while, but the Lions are too deep.
Carter 23, Rialto 12

College
Florida State (-5.5) at Wake Forest
The low moment for the Seminoles in their 7-6 season last year was a 30-0 pasting by Wake Forest in front of the home fans in Tallahassee. This guy definitely wants revenge. But I don't see FSU returning the favor, at least not in the 30-point victory vein. The Seminoles win, but it'll be a struggle.
Florida State 21, Wake Forest 17
