Hesperia-Serrano on Saturday

After talking to Hesperia coach Robert Kistner today, I was told that the Hesperia-Serrano game will be played on Saturday rather than Friday at Snowline Stadium in Phelan. The game time will be at 7 p.m., as it was scheduled to be on Friday.

The game was changed because Serrano played on Monday at Apple Valley in response to Friday's league games being canceled due to poor air quality. The Diamondbacks called the Scorpions earlier this week, according to Hesperia coach Robert Kistner, and asked for the change to get their kids an extra day of rest. Hesperia agreed, is it joins Apple Valley and Rim of the World for a unique Mojave River League Saturday.
