Green Bay (-3.5) at Detroit
On the surface, this seems like easy Packer money. The Packers are surging while the Lions have struggled in losing their last two games. However, maybe I'm biased, but Brett Favre tends to struggle indoors, especially in Detroit. The Lions tend to get up for Thanksgiving and for once, they aren't out of the playoff hunt by this time. This is a homer pick, but not necessarily a bad one.

N.Y. Jets (+14) at Dallas
The Jets have actually looked pretty decent since Kellen Clemens took the reigns, almost upsetting the Redskins and pulling the trick against the Steelers. But Dallas is looking scary. With Indy having injury problems, the Cowboys are probably the best team not named New England. I'm thinking Romo and TO have themselves a game.

Indianapolis (-11.5) at Atlanta
Boy, the NFL Network must be pissed. They planned on having perhaps the best passing quarterback in Peyton Manning against the human highllight reel of Michael Vick. However, Mr. Vick decided to get thrown in the clink, leaving the network with a matchup of a banged-up Colts team against a useless Falcons squad. Indy needs a big game to get back in sync and Atlanta is as good of team as any to get that against.

College
USC (-3.5) at Arizona State
A huge game for both teams, as the Trojans' Rose Bowl hopes, once dead, got a huge break when Oregon fell to Arizona. The Sun Devils also benefitted from the Ducks' loss, as they control their own Rose Bowl destiny and could get to the BCS title game with a win and some help. But they aren't getting this win. Even with their successes, Zona State has had a hard time protecting QB Rudy Carpenter. Against a ferocious USC pass rush, that spells disaster. Trojans romp.
