Redlands East Valley defensive end/linebacker Josh Scott has made his college choice according to Rivals.com, verbally comitting to the University of Texas-El Paso.

Scott, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound senior, had 80 tackles (38 unassisted), three sacks and two interceptions en route to being a first-team all-Citrus Belt League and second-team all-County selection. Scott is the third Wildcat to verbally commit to a Division I school, joining running back Chris Polk (Washington) and defensive lineman Quentin Toailoa (Nebraska).
