Baseline trio receives scholarship offers

Roughly a week after announcing that he would pare his prospective-school list to five by Memorial Day, Upland quarterback Josh Nunes received a scholarship offer from one of the premier Division I schools in the land, as Oklahoma became the 16th school to offer him a spot. The Sooners join Colorado, Nebraska and Texas Tech as Big 12 schools courting the 6-foot-4 incoming senior signalcaller.

Highlander cornerback Osahon Irabor is also starting to pick up some recruiting momentum, with Wyoming recently offering him a scholarship. That bumps Irabor up to five scholarship offers, with the Cowboys joining Arizona, Arizona State, California and Oregon.

Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut also received an offer recently, with Kansas offering him a scholarship last week. Brehaut's offer list is up to seven now, with the Jayhawks joining Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Louisville, San Diego State and Washington State.
