Brehaut MVP at Nike Palo Alto Event

Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut made a big statement to college recruiters Saturday at the Nike Training Camp in Palo Alto, as he was named the MVP of the quarterbacks. Brehaut was the best of a talented group that included Upland's Josh Nunes, San Diego Scripps Ranch's Tate Forcier and Oceanside's Jordan Wynn. There is an article on Rivals.com about it, but it's only for paying customers.

Brehaut, Forcier and Nunes are all rated in the Rivals top 250, with Nunes clocking in at No. 151 and Brehaut at No. 160. Nunes has received 18 scholarship offers, most recently from Tennessee and SMU, while Brehaut is sporting nine offers, mostly recently coming from Iowa State and Oregon State.
