Fire threatens homes in Fontana

Firefighters from Rancho Cucamonga and San Bernardino County are working a 10-acre fire in Fontana near the junction of the 15 and 210 freeways.
The blaze, reported at 2:39 a.m., has spread to about 10 acres and threatens homes in the northeast Village of Heritage area, according to San Bernardino County fire officials.
The fire began on the north side of the 210 but has since jumped the freeway and is now burning south of the 210 and east of the 15.
