Homes burning on Meyers Road
At least two homes have burned near the top of Myers Road.
Several fire engines are set up on a dirt road at the top of Meyers Road, trying to douse 10-foot high flames that are incinerating fields of dry brush and trees that burned during the Old Fire of 2003.
Mosaic patterns of fire could be seen lighting up the hillsides behind fire crews and firefighters struggled to control the blaze as wind whipped huge clouds of ash and smoke down the hill.
