Firefighters are battling a one-acre brush fire near Beaumont, just south of the 10 Freeway.
The fire started around 3:20 p.m. on Lamb Canyon Road but is not threatening any structures, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Flames have burned vegetation along the freeway and Beaumont Road, officials said.
A brush fire that spread up to 100 acres in Beaumont is now contained, fire officials said.
Riverside County firefighters are mopping up the blaze, which was reported along Lamb Canyon Road around 3:20 p.m.
A helicopter and five air tankers battled the fire from the air. It is unknown how many firefighters responded to the fire, which burned south of the 10 Freeway.
