That is a tall order you are talking about. I believe Etiwanda has a couple of talented kid on that team. It will take more then talent. To win it all it will also require some good coaching and a lot of luck. Have you ever seen them play? I was at the Charter Oak, Upland, and Los Osos game. They coach like Pop Warner. They try to let everyone touch the football. Colton will win it all.

I don't watch any film, just the two games I attend each week - usually one each on Thursday and Friday. So, that certainly limits my knowledge. I try to spread out and see as many as I can.

I've seen Etiwanda three times this season, against Norco, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga. Since those were all pretty impressive performances, I imagine I can't help but let that effect my picking them to win it all.

I do believe the Central Division is fairly wide open this season, certainly compared to last year when you had an undefeated team like Rancho. Colton is probably the closest thing we've got to a dominant team but navigating the San Andreas League isn't like going through the Baseline or Sierra Leagues. Then there's a team like Colony, who is certainly dangerous. It's going to be fun this year, lot of possibilities. Since the playoff teams are so even top to bottom, you've got teams who could lose in the first round or win it all like, say, Chino Hills or Upland.

Watch out for Damien. The second coming of Sparta had begun!!!!

Interesting to say the least. Every team that made teh Central Division Playoffs this season has had their struggles. Colony and Colton have not had theirs since Week 0. They are both dangerous teams coming out of questionable leagues. The Baseline teams are always dangerous, but the strongest team in that league right now is Los Osos. Of those teams, I think that they have the best chance to win it all. That being said, Upland and Etiwanda have a fair chance to make it to the final. Damien is also a team to watch.

Another Basline League Central Division championship with RC two-peat.

Semis:
RC over LoHi
Upland over Etiwanda

Final:
RC over Upland

Sorry Guest, :-(
RC couldn't even handle E-HI. Again, if E-HI had opened up, they would have beat RC by 20. I was at the Upland game and the same thing for them. E-HI is good but I do not think they will be coached to win it all. Colton is well coached and has been consistent all season long.

Colton is very a well coached team that coughed up 27 fumbles this season, and they don't have much of a passing game. Be prepared for a track meet. RC can score and they have the ability to score quick with multiple playmakers so Colton cannot afford to play catch up because RC turnovers are minimal. Rancho's defense may not be as good as last season but only loses were against top Baseline teams by a total of 6 points. They will turn up the heat in the playoffs. The frustrating part is no lead is safe against RC/Etiwanda/LoHi who can respond and score quickly.

Chino Hills will be in the finals this year. They have a great D and an explosive offense that is well balanced.

Go Huskies!

I guess if you have them No. 1 in your poll you've got to pick them to go all the way. I get that.

Etiwanda v. Colton is sort of the "dream" matchup at this point.

Tomorrow's prediction;

CHHS 24 - Elsi 14

Huskies move on to round 2.

Go Huskies!

Cook72, In your opinion, what is the issue with the coaching at Etiwanda? I would like to use it to our advantage in the future.

Baseline Coach,
E-Hi coaches are not relentless. They will let you back in the game. Just hang in there and they will give you an opportunity to win. Look at film on any game they played this year. Next year will be the same. Mark my word, I have a sophomore playing now so I will be here. “Colton”
