wow really los osos beat both etiwanda and rancho and they are still ranked higher...not like the etiwanda made it a game on friday

It was admittedly difficult to select the order of all four Baseline League teams because they've beaten up on each other. I relied plenty on their nonleague performances, which was a large determining factor in Los Osos ending up behind Rancho and Etiwanda even though the Grizzlies beat them both.

FYI... they beat Rancho, Etiwanda, & Colony all of which you list ahead of them?
Colony has played a joke of a schedule... kinda like your rankings.
I don't think Los Osos deserves to be much higher than listed, but your other team listings are way off!

Clay,
Los Osos has beaten Colony,Rancho and Etiwanda, therefore they deserve to be ranked ahead of them. This is a unbiased Chino Hills Husky opinion, that believes you should be ranked above all you have conquered.
Go Huskies!

im just saying osos lost to vista murrieta 9-0 more then likely going 10-0 by three in ot....redlands 8-1 probley going 8-2 vs rev...just saying rancho non league opp w-l....21-24....etiwanda's non league opp w-l...21-24...uplands non league opp w-l...23-22...and then osos non league w-l...33-12..just saying

Colony has beat Diamond Ranch, Chino Hills, and Kaiser. how are you going to say they have played no one. Their league sucks but how is that their fault. A game in week 1 isnt the same as a game in week 10. you might know that if you played football before. you dont know anything IE sports Fan

Clay,
As all the other posts are pointing out, Los Osos has beaten Colony, Etiwanda, and unbeaten Rancho. Daily Bulletin itself has previously stated that Osos had the most grueling pre-season schedule of any Baseline Team. So if you rely on nonleague performance you must look at strength of schedule not just win/loss. Example, they held mighty Vista Murrieta to the lowest score they had all season and Vista Murrieta only won in OT. Los Osos lead most of that game. Los Osos with one more win is #1 seed in Baseline, they have beaten 3 of your top 5 teams, destroying Etiwanda and Colony, yet you rank us lower then all we have beaten.

Clay,
Your job is hard. I just go with the flow. Up one week and I love you, down the next week and I hate you. I will probably love you again. Keep up the good work.

Let's just all be glad (myself included) that I'm not the BCS... that high school football has a real means of solving this debate.
These rankings make for great discussion and you all make valid points. The seperation between No. 1 and No. 10 is marginal, so you can imagine how small the difference is between 1 and 6.
I don't hear anybody talking about where Upland should land in relation to Los Osos. Yes, Los Osos has beaten Rancho Cucamonga and Etiwanda, but both of those teams have beaten Upland (who shut out Los Osos). So, by the logic of ranking Los Osos over Rancho and Etiwanda because the Grizzlies beat them, how can I rank Los Osos ahead of Upland? Or Upland ahead of Rancho or Etiwanda?

Is Chino really going to be 0-10??? This is embarrassing. They need to get a new guy over there.

WOW!! Good point about the shut-out that Upland put on Osos. You are doing you homework. LOL!!!

I know these are week ten rankings. Will Glendora begin to start getting a look on these rankings? Whats your feel on them?

Glendora actually isn't in the Daily Bulletin's coverage area, so it's not eligible to be ranked. It's a little strange in the all five other Sierra League teams are in our coverage area. If I could've ranked Glendora, it would have consistently been in the top 10 this year.
