Where are the 2 wide receivers from Rancho Cucamonga? you are missing 2 very good wide receivers from the RC team both juniors that led there team to the CIF semi finals. Unfortunately the spot light was with TE Randal Telfar and but the 2 receivers were both fast and have hands.I would put both up against any of those receivers that were chosen.

u are missing some upland players...good ole salter is on the verge of getting some recruits that i'm sure that will proly be on the list....just like they miraculously got some of the players they had this year example...mcdonald,hutchins,stewart..and the list goes on and on.....I think if we had to rank recruiting classes upland would be on the top of the list for all the recruits and transfers they go after daily....

Upland's class of 2011 has more talent then the class of 2010.Upland will give a good run for CIF champs again this year. They dont need to recruit.

We are still looking at around 5-10 players from the area and the RC WR's are ones that we are taking a good look at. Remember, we are still early in the process... Upland is always on a wait and see mode. You will see one of the upland players on the third tier of players on my board tomorrow.

I have to agree with the RC wide receivers James Z and Donovan H. they are tops in the league and running back Sateki F and MLB KIKI F coming back Rc should also have a great run. The line on both sides will be bigger and stronger. The quarter back should be pretty good he's 6' 2 and growing with good speed and good arm. Saw him play against Mission Viejo and was impressive. As for claremont they are not in our league anymore. Baseline will be stronger with Glendora coming in and Claremont out.

That's funny that you say that guess! I wonder how that abram kid got to upland as well as the other kids that will be transfering soon to upland!! Salter knew abram was transfering he had already talked to him before he actually transferred over according to my kid!! Also one of your young lineman is a transfer he belongs to one of the schools in the montclair district!! And the list goes on about there transfers there's too many to name, wat about that irabor kid from a few years ago that went to asu,he lived in fontana. Hey guess I think u need to check ur sources or open your eyes!! Upland has been recruting for years and they will continue to do so!!! They've had recruits for the longest time!! Too many to name!! So much for tim and jim up at upland playing by the rules!!!

I don't know how many 2 sport athletes that start that are in any of these top 20 lists. But there are 2 that are pretty good at both in the baseline league. Cody Rogina of Los Osos, Running back and pitcher, and James Z. Rancho Cucamonga Wide receiver and Outfield - JZ I heard has scouts and D1 schools looking and I heard already has been offered D1 baseball offer.

Highlander said:

I`m guessing the Upland player that will be on tonight`s list is All-American kicker/punter Jake Van Ginkel.
He is getting letters from most of the PAC-10 schools, as well as from a dozen other major D1 schools.

hey 7rock...or excuse me highlander....ur all over the place....

wow said:

It looks like the recruiter hasn't looked at the baseline talent at RC. The list has Los Osos Paul Pitts at RB which he doesn't play and still avoiding the true talent of the wide receivers from RC. JZ and DH had more yards and tds than Pitts check MAX Preps. JZ (5'11" 185 (4.45)statistically had more yards in the central division than any wide receiver that played in CIF and DH 5'11 165 ( 4.55) was right behind with great numbers. Is the recruit avoiding them ? Where is Sateki F. RB in all this he is being recruited by D1 schools as well.

well
there is a mistake in the 21-30
k.lawler is not class of 2011 he is 2012

i hope i read that right and he is a WR

ie said:

Thank you for the heads up on Lawler. For some reason - our database had him as a 2011 kid. My mistake and I apologize for it. Thanks for your help!

since "recruiting guru" decided to drop some names of Upland players we might as well drop some names of some Osos transfers.. who coincidentally were some of their best players this year

Tony Washington- best defensive lineman originally played for Rancho Cugamonga
Martin- best offensive lineman, played for alta loma last year.
Kori Grant- played for colony last year

recruting guru said:

Hey anony that's funny that u say that!! All those kids except for washington helped los osos!! Anony u need to look at abron that accidentally fell in ur lap!!! Is there more players that will be falling in ur lap soon!!! How about hutchins that still lives in ontario,or ward that is from diamond bar,or irabor that was from fontana! Everyone knows you guys go out of your way to recruit, and use your own kids to recruit! Its ok!!

guess said:

Abram will not have as many carries next year as had this year.Upland will have talent on offence next year then they had this year.better running backs, better recievers, and Nunes will have a better feel for the game. There D-FENCE will be solid as well. Not to worrie Upland will be fine.

uh oh said:

Upland looks like they are loading up which I think they should aside from going 4th in baseline. Lost to RC in league and the players that beat upland are still there. Yeah a little luck got them by in the playoffs but i'm sure they didn't want to play RC again. (3 in a row )Lets see if the luck changes next year.

the truth said:

hey guru Tony Washington scored the only oso touchdown in the ship as well as earning a scoly to Oregon. as WE all know he with a HEAVY HEART. CONGRATS TONY

THE TRUTH said:

the baseline league already proved that height dosen't make you a good or great QB. they don't bliz in passing league

guess said:

Upland dosn't care who they play. They are all in the gym allready. They will be a much more physical team this season. So bring on Rancho. I know most of the boys and trust me they are ready to HIT.They want to go back to back.

Dave said:

Upland has a sophomore QB that Im hearing about that is better than the Sr returner. What is his name??

the truth said:

well ? said. get ready to only hear about teki @ rc now that randal and and is gone BUT I'm sure that will be fine with the rc fans they never mentioned ALL the hype he gets mark my words he will have the spotlight no matter how well the receivers perform CONGRATS TELFER AND AND

anonymous said:

Dominique Williams at Garey is more like 6'3" Great hands and desire to bring that ball down.

The rising sophomore quarterback at Upland is Nate Romine, supposed to be a good dual-threat guy.

stop hatin said:

JZ does not run a 4.45 40 yard dash.... DH as well does not run a 4.55 40... i played on the team... trust me i kno... they were our 10th and 11th fastest players on the team... the wr randall telfer ran a 4.56 and the qb greg watson ran a 4.6 and they were only the 3rd and 4th fastest on the team... we all raced and were timed... idk were you may have found ur stats but there false... CONGRADS 2 RANDALL AND GREG 4 GETTIN OUT OF RANCHO WITH A SCHOLLY EVEN THOUGH COACHES PUT THEM THRU HELL... good luck baseline league next year...go highlanders!!!

stop hatin what said:

What are the stats on JZ and DH since you know so much and if you played with them how fast were they cause watching the games you could only tell those boys were quicker than most. So who are the other 9 faster kids on the team. and why you hatin coaches cuz im sure everybody knows whats going on with that, you must be 2nd or 3rd string the way you sound. Don't be a hater Highlander. Baseline will be just as good as the last 2 years, so what up. congrats to all baseline athletes going to the next level.

truth is said:

i agree with TEKI being the man and I believe TEKI could have done just as good as a job as Boyd (not knocking Boyd he was the man) but TEKI will have his hands full. As for the other core players receivers and quarter back, linebacker KIKI they will be a pretty good team . TONGAN power.

PURPLE REIGN said:

As you all know talent wise RC clearly has been better than anyone in the baseline league! This has'nt changed the two WR Donovan H / James Z were the best in the league look it up your self despite the seniors moving on.The leadership of Teki F. and the two WR are the best core in league. The Soph. talent is off the chart, are only question is QB.D-1 talent all over the field. GO RANCHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

guess said:

Upland's class of 2011 will all be seniors next year. When the class of 2011 were freshman the were the the best team in the Baseline League by far.So here we go again.Back to Back CIF.

guess again said said:

Upland tied RC as freshmen so called Co-champs I guess that makes them the best team in the baseline league as well. It will be a rivalry next year if you forgot already RC has a 3 game win streak on Upland. I know it will be another great game between the 2 teams as the 2011 class is loaded as well as the 2012 class.

PURPLE REIGN said:

First of all lets give thanks to Clay Fowler, this blog is great. For the guy named GUESS, I want you to GUESS when was the last time upland beat RC? And this season you guys are coming to Distric field at Los Osos High, where we should have played osos in this years playoff,we gave away our advantage by playing on a neutral field! Then we would've continued are streak against the highlanders!By the way your hospitality at your field was nothing but RUDE, I witnessed RC fans get hasseled at the gate spoken to rudely not good highlanders,But we won't do that to you guys we'll just be a little rude on the field! Yes its on and crackin now, OH HIGHLANDER FAN that means it's going to be fun.

rancho looks to be strong on offense but defense may be suspect with so many holes to fill. Lots of questions about all baseline teams, looks to be a fun year.

Just sayin it. said:

I have to say all the Upland guys that are saying they will win league next year, Guess what Rancho will win league hands down see you next season..
