Diamond Bar softball: winless to league champs?
The Diamond Bar softball team's turnaround already was substantial before the Brahmas officially became league title contenders last week.
After a winless run through the Sierra League last season, Diamond Bar (12-9, 7-2) is a game behind first-place West Covina in the new Hacienda League thanks in large part to a 4-3 win over Bonita on April 27.
Last season, Diamond Bar posted a 6-18 overall record that included an 0-10 mark in league. The Brahmas surpassed last season's win total a month into this season.
League play, however, has produced even better results. The win over Bonita, a two-time defending league champion and defending CIF-SS semifinalist, thrust the Brahmas into the midst of the league championship race.
If Bonita defeats West Covina on Friday -- Bonita won the first meeting, 8-5 -- Diamond Bar will be in a three-way tie for first place. The Brahmas host West Covina in the regular-season finale on May 13.
Diamond Bar lost 16-6 to West Covina on March 16 in the teams' first meeting this season. The Brahmas split with Bonita, which won the first meeting 7-0 on April 25, but Diamond Bar won the rematch two days later without UCLA-bound shortstop Stephany La Rosa.

What does that tell you about the Hacienda League? They couldn't win a game in Sierra and now they are 2nd/3rd in Hacienda, It's because Hacienda is a weak league!
Shows how weak you are Ron for talking about 16 and 17 yr old girls!!! I truly hope your wasteful typing helped you feel better about yourself if that was the attempt!
