Area volleyball pulling rank
Area volleyball is on the rise as seven teams have now ascended into the CIF-SS rankings this week. In addition to mainstays St. Lucy's (No. 1, Division 2AA), Chino Hills (No. 3, D2AA), Bonita (No. 3 D2A), Diamond Bar (No. 4 D2A) and San Dimas (No. 6 D3A), two new teams worked their way into the top 10 of their respective divisions this week.
Ontario Christian was elevated to No. 7 in D3A thanks to a week that began with a win over the third-place team in the Ambassador League. Ayala entered D2AA rankings at No. 10 aided by a win over West Covina South Hills last week.
