Coyote men's soccer team earns national ranking

The Cal State San Bernardino men's soccer team is ranked 25th in the Preseason NSCAA/Adidas Division II rankings.

Coming off the best season in head coach Noah Kooiman's career the Coyotes start out where they ended the 2009 season at No. 25. The team returns six starters, including two NCAA Division II All-West Region selections in local products Obi Agwu and Albert Cabrera.
 
CSUSB went 15-6-1 en route to the first NCAA postseason appearance since 1991. The Coyotes finished second in the CCAA South Division before bowing out to Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. in the CCAA and NCAA Tournaments.
 
CSU Dominguez Hills debuts at No. 4 while Cal State L.A. is No. 14. Sonoma State is No. 22.
 
Cal State San Bernardino kicks off its season Sept. 2 against St. Martins (Wash.) in Phoenix, Ariz.
